Library/Book Exchange/Collection/Reference Room/Reading Room - A place where information is stored and borrowed and shared.

We have Internet, do we need paper?

If kids need paper to get started, do adults need paper?

If adults need paper, do they need more than fiction?

Theft reduces collections so does it make sense to catalog?

Can organization eliminate need for card catalogue?  Once a book is moved and cannot be found does it matter that it is in the catalogue?

I want uniform labeling and ID, similar to Wake County.

How many can we store in how small a footprint?  How damaging is heat to modern book bindings?

What is our greatest excess?  Children’s?  Starting point?

Would people borrow rather than buy?  If they borrowed, would they return?

Is there any value in an honor system in today’s world?

Would our clients keep more than 5,000 a year?  Can we continue with that loss rate?

What if we could get 10,000 a year?
