Cleveland Library is one of two or three North Carolina libraries that operate without tax funding and must raise its operating and new book budgets by membership and late fees, donations, and sales. The goal is $100,000 annually.

Cleveland Library was asked by its patrons to reduce identical multiple copies of its books and videos in order to gain more diversity of materials. The catalogs below were autocataloged using Readerware.

The Children's VHS collection, which is mainly from Disney Corporation and has taller than usual storage boxes. All VHS sale tapes at the library are $1.00.
