Food Policy

Volunteers may bring food into the building to eat during their lunch and break periods. Any food which may mark the books and labels, must be kept off the work tables, away from the computers, and the individual's hands must be washed with hand soap and water and dried in the rest room, before resuming handling books, work materials, and equipment. Drinks may not be in pop tab cans or open top containers. Sippy cups, cups with lids and straws, and screw top bottles may be used, but must be capped when not being used. Any cup which may leak or produce sweat rings may not be sat on any bookcases or books or even tables in the work area. Eating should be during break and lunch time.
