Spoilage Policy

Once the director has approved disposal of any spoiled goods and before they go in the dumpster, any customer or volunteer may request them. Once in the dumpster, items may not be removed. Any such item must immediately be presented at the register and then removed from the building. Typical examples:

1. Wet, torn, and damaged books
2. Items we either may not resell or safely store.
