Basic Needs Ministry - Serving Wake County Jail The Wake County Jail was built to hold 480 prisoners, but like the schools is now housing more - 700! Along with the increase in population comes the increase in assaults. In this climate, it is very appropriate to send religious books in to build a library and support the moral reform possible. In 2006, a customer, Betty Woolard, shared with Basic Needs about her project for the inmates and we agreed to help. |
