Time Card System from Microsoft

Open Time Card System - file named: Time card.laccdb

To enter time records:

  1. Under the Time category on the left side select Work Hours List
  2. New entries are added at the bottom
  3. Slowly start typing the volunteers first and last name slowly in the first blank name record - when you start typing, the program will immediately start trying to match the name you are typing with names in the system. Many times it will take less than 3 letters. If the correct name comes up, stop typing and Tab to the date field. [If you have to type the entire name in, because it isn't in our system, you will get a screen asking if you wish to edit the information. select yes and add data in all fields asking for information, particularly telephone and address information, when possible. when done, close the table and go to the date field.]
  4. When the date field comes up, it will automatically enter the current date. If that is correct, Tab to the Work Code field. [If the date is not correct, use the pop-up calendar to select the correct date. Let is close when done and move to the work code field.]
  5. Start entering the work code. Again, it will try to match what you start typing with categories we have already assigned it. Here are the basic codes to enter: Administrative Tasks, Food Pantry, Humanitarian Aid, Clothing closet, Cleaning, Library, Register, Data Entry, Housewares. When it gets to the correct one, Tab to the hours field.
  6. Enter the hours worked. Then use your mouse to move your curser to the next blank name field.
