Basic Needs Ministry - Media Team

In 2006, Basic Needs adopted the design team approach to its radio and print public materials. All must understand or have experience with our policies, operations, and beliefs.

The design time for a simple two-page brochure should be 6 hours and be ready to print in 48 hours. Web site redesign should be planned in no more than 7 days and fully implemented in 14 additional days.

The team will initially consist of:

  1. One professional computer person with over 20 years experience using over 100 computer programs, who was trained and experienced as a journalist and photographer
  2. Two college trained and experienced public information professionals, with experience in Web site design
  3. A college trained public information professional with the experience and technical equipment to develop and produce radio PSAs
  4. A radio personality with the ability to design and distribute print PSAs to radio stations
  5. 6 print and sign businesses - each with a different capability
  6. Focus groups
