Court and Corrections Community Service Opportunities

Basic Needs will accept a limited number of court appointed community service workers during any scheduled work time. We welcome anyone who wants to help our community.

Some organizations have closed their doors to court appointed community service workers as their programs were disrupted and staff time eaten by continuous supervision requirements. Others maintain a traditional business schedule of 9-5 Monday -Friday, which can conflict with the job schedule of a worker. Where this may make for a smooth running program, it does not help the segment who made mistakes regain their place in society.
