Basic Needs Ministry -
Cleveland Crime Cam
A cash reward was advertised payable to the person responsible for securing the
arrest and conviction of the person who shot and killed Colleen Blackburn.
A reward was set up and is being coordinated by business owners Steve Duty, Duty Tire & Service Center, 405 Tryon Road, Garner, NC 27529; 919-772-6100, and Ray Saums, Ray's Grocery No. 5, 7940 White Oak Road, Garner, NC 27529; 919-772-3210.

Unsolved killing: Who shot and killed Colleen Blackburn? Although this wasn't in Cleveland Township, many folks in the community knew and loved her. She worked for two Garner businesses and attended Wake Tech.
A cash reward will be paid to the individual who secures the arrest and
conviction of any person removing donated goods illegally from Basic Needs
Ministry. Currently the reward is
offered on those individuals performing illegal activities in the film clips
below. The reward is being paid by individuals and not Basic Needs Ministry. Contact Ron Still for more information at 661-6565.
Please remember while watching these security camera shots that Basic Needs
is a community charity. It provides free clothing gift certificates to over
300 community churches, schools, and agencies to provide to people in need. There
is no need to steal anything. Local
fire victims can get other free merchandise with their recent fire
certificate. The clothing is either new or like new, sorted to ensure top
quality, and displayed by category and size. Why would these folks risk a
criminal charge and record? Well, some did stock their yard sales, flea
market sales, and e-bay businesses. Please note that many of our local
criminals are equal opportunity and are busy around the community, which
means you might be next to supply them.
Watch Cleveland's charity donations being stolen. These
are self contained security camera files with various controls for
enhancement, which are provided for law enforcement and media. The longer the
play time, the larger the file. To view these, you may select the file and
click on Run or download after setting your firewall to allow EXE files. Save
on your hard drive. If your time is valuable, start the download and go to
lunch. View on your return. Use the brightness control for night and shadow shots.
If you recognize the people in the video, please contact the Johnston
County Sheriff: 919-989-5010 or submit your Crime
Tip.
Camera time must be adjusted slightly to match recorder time with exact EST.
