Once upon a time, the pantry acquired 700 extra pounds of one certain food. It probably won't be the last time an inventory gets out of synch with local needs. We offered it to many food pantries around, but the Lighthouse Church was the only pantry to return our call. Their volunteers came and took the food within a couple days. This was the little church with its pantries at two locations that made a difference in the Clayton and Elevation Township communities. |
