Basic Needs Ministry - Displaying Shoes
-
Shoes are displayed by size. Determine the size of the shoe by looking at the manufacturer's tag - use U.S. size only or by matching with a similar size shoe that you know its correct size.
-
In most cases, one shoe is placed on top of the other and a rubber band goes around them to hold them together. In case of some extraordinary shoes and boots, they are side-by-side and wrapped with the rubber band.
-
Place shoes on the shelf that most closely matches the shoe size. Some shoe sizes (numbers) are in several places on the shelves as we progress from infants to adults. Be sure to match the length of the shoe to those in place. In some instances we do not separate 1/2 sizes. A 10 1/2 would be placed with the size 10 shoes.
-
Toes face forward and shoes are neatly aligned next to each other.
